Noel Gallagher is considering cutting back on his alcohol consumption after expressing concerns about his health. The 57-year-old Oasis rocker admitted that continuing his current drinking habits might shorten his life, joking that he’d be “lucky” to make it to 60.
In an interview with Matt Morgan on his subscription-only podcast, Gallagher compared himself to Mick Jagger, suggesting that the Rolling Stones legend, despite his impressive longevity, is not a realistic role model for him. Gallagher remarked, “Just because Jagger is mincing around at 103 doesn’t mean everyone can,” referring to Jagger’s age of 81.

Gallagher also noted recent weight gain, attributing it to excessive drinking. “I could do with getting off the booze, let’s put it that way,” he admitted.
Recently, Gallagher wrapped up a tour with his band High Flying Birds and humorously commented on the experience at their final show at Britain’s Y Not Festival. He told the audience, “We’ve been on tour for over a year, so we’re sick of the sight of each other. So, we need to get away from it for a while.”
