Normani Releases Debut Solo Album ‘Dopamine’

American singer-songwriter Normani released her debut solo album ‘Dopamine’ on Friday, 14th June. This album was in the making for years. The announcement for the release of the album was made on Instagram. 

Normani made a statement on the album. “I’m just grateful that everybody is just really excited still for this album and for this body of work, they’ve waited on me, which I don’t really take for granted.”

The album consists of some amazing songs. It includes her most recent track, titled “Candy Paint,” which was released on 31st May, also the day that marked her 28th birthday.  Some of the other songs of the album are “1:58” which features Gunna,  “Dopamine (First Dose),” and there is also a song that features Cardi B called “Wild Side”.’

Normani – ‘Take My Time’

Normani is quite famous and her solo career is often the talk of the town. Four of her solo singles have been on “ The Hot 100” chart. The songs are  “Love Lies” with Khalid, which came at No. 9; “Dancing With a Stranger” with Sam Smith was ranked No. 7,  “Wild Side” (No. 14); and “Motivation”  which peaked at No. 33.

She used to be a part of the management company S10 until last year when she decided to part ways with them and to be co-managed by Lydia Asrat of Q10 and Brandon Creed of Good World Management. 

Her solo career took a turn when Fifth Harmony decided to go on indefinite hiatus. Normani is an incredible singer and performer and this debut album of hers has been highly anticipated by her fans.
