The good folks behind The Hills Are Alive festival, and the awesome lineups that come with it, have officially announced the return of NYE on the Hill for 2014. This three-day (two-night) boutique music and camping festival will take punters into 2015 with good vibes and plenty of good music.
NYE on the Hill enjoyed its inaugural event last year, selling out well in advance, with music fans eager to check out a lineup that featured Remi, Loon Lake, and Palms, just to name a few. This year, organisers will once again cap attendance at 2,000 to ensure a boutique hills experience.
This year’s lineup will be announced Wednesday, 13th August, the same date that tickets go on sale. Organisers promise that this year’s lineup will continue the Hills Are Alive tradition of uncovering the best up-and-coming talent in the country and letting them give it their all in a dazzling venue.
“What better way to bring in the New Year?” ask NYE on the Hill organisers, who’ve curated an event that is all about freedom. “Freedom from massive crowds. Freedom from the city. Freedom to hang out with really great people, in an amazing location, listening to awesome live music.”
NYE on the Hill kicks off 2pm Tuesday, 30th December and runs till 2pm Thursday, 1st January, taking place on an incredibly picturesque site near Loch Village, 90 minutes south-east of Melbourne. Registrations to attend are now open. Last year sold out will in advance so get in early.
