Icelandic nu folk outfit Of Monsters And Men are continuing their love affair with Australia, adding a third tour date in Sydney to their run of sideshows taking place after their appearance at Splendour In The Grass 2013.
The Little Talks hitmakers have already sold out their previously announced Sydney shows, as well as their first Melbourne show, with the second one selling fast. And it seems the quirky 6-piece is loving on Australia as much as we are them, with lead guitarist Brynjar Leifsson telling Huffington Post the reception is always “overwhelming; it’s nice to see so many people who want to help us and who appreciate what we are doing, it’s lots of fun and it is beautiful”. Ain’t that sweet?
Of Monsters And Men released their debut album My Head Is An Animal in 2011, eventually hitting the number 1 spot on the ARIA charts and going platinum. This will be their second Australian trip this year, following their February appearances at Laneway Festival.
