One Day Sundays National September Dates Announced

One Day, the Inner West Sydney hip-hop collective comprised of Aussie rap favourites Horrorshow, Spit Syndicate, Joyride, and Jackie Onassis, will finally bring their monthly block party, One Day Sundays, interstate this September, as they tour nationally in celebration of their full-length studio debut, Mainline.

Held every month at The Vic in Inner West Sydney, One Day Sundays has quickly grown to become one of the biggest monthly club dates in the city. The upcoming interstate events are free and feature the members of the One Day crew DJing alongside special guests like Jaytee, Finehouse, and Dexter.

Meanwhile, the One Dayers’ forthcoming national tour dates, which kick off this Friday, 5th September with a sold-out show at 170 Russell in Melbourne, will see them launch their debut album in some of the biggest venues since forming back in 2006. The members will play individual sets, followed by a massive collaborative finale, which will see all seven members take to the stage together for the first time ever.

Readers can check out the first single to be taken from the album, the slinky Love Me Less, below. It’s little wonder it’s a favourite with the folks at Triple J, with some infectious interplay between some of the most familiar voices in the Australian hip-hop scene, who’ve come together to ride under one banner.
