The NSW regional city of Orange just scored itself a fresh free music festival. Dubbed ‘Zest Fest’, the pre-summer street party will take place at Robertson Park on Saturday, 2nd November, and feature a headline set from indie-rock juggernauts, The Rubens.
“Picture this: the finest local food, bars, and wineries, all in one place, basking in the spring sunshine,” spuiks a description on the event website. “Grab your picnic rugs, camp chairs and the whole family for a day of dancing, celebrating, and peeling off the winter blues at Zest Fest.”

Funded by the NSW Government in association with Orange City Council, Zest Fest will also feature performances from folktronica artist Gordi, as well as Babitha, Jack Biilmann And The Black Tide, Archie and Where’s Jimmy.
As mentioned, tickets are free, but registration is essential so the organisers can keep on top of numbers.
“Your pre-registration is guaranteeing you entry, up to a time (please refer to your ticket),” they write. “From then your ticket is still valid, however your entry will be subject to the capacity of the event, as admission will be open to the public at that time.”
The fest is open to fans of all ages, but under 18’s will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
