If RL Grime, Pusha T and Golden Features didn’t already have you convinced that Perth is the place to be for New Year’s Eve, then the mighty second lineup for Origin NYE should get you across the line.
Organisers have today added US rapper Mac Miller and UK electro-banger connoisseurs Nero to the lineup. It’s the first Australian tour dates revealed for both acts who were previously announced on the bill for New Zealand’s Rhythm & Vines.
They’re not the only new names either. Local hero and Beats One radio host Anna Lunoe will be there as will WA native Sable, rapper Bonkaz and drum n’ bass legends Ed Rush & Optical.
It’s now a stacked bill of internationals and locals ready to take over East Perth’s Wellington Square and usher in the New Year.
Tickets are on sale but they likely won’t last long given the strength of this second name drop.
UPDATE 22/12/15: Mac Miller has pulled out of Origin NYE 2015, and has cancelled all of his upcoming Australian tour dates, citing exhaustion.
