The world is currently divided in responses to HBO‘s controversial documentary Leaving Neverland, which dives deep into the sexual abuse allegations against Michael Jackson. Now, his daughter Paris has come out and, sort of, defended him.
Taking to Twitter, she vaguely said “y’all take my life more seriously than i do. calm yo tittaaaaysss.”
She later explained what she meant, saying “I know injustices are frustrating and it’s easy to get worked up. but reacting with a calm mind usually is more logical than acting out of rage.”
“Smoke some weed n think about the bigger picture. chillax my dudes.”
After a Twitter user said that the bigger picture is that MJ’s legacy has been “ruined and his name smeared forever”, Jackson replied implying that the bigger picture is the message of love and peace that her father spread.
“So….. not love and peace and trying to carry that message out?” she said. “Tabloids and lies are the bigger picture? i’ll pray for you.”
Leaving Neverland has had a very quick impact on the industry, with radio stations across Australia, New Zealand and Canada having pulled Michael’s music from air.

i didn’t mean to offend by expressing that titties should be calm, i know injustices are frustrating and it’s easy to get worked up. but reacting with a calm mind usually is more logical than acting out of rage and also…. it feels better to mellow out.

if everyone reacted this way towards articles, they’d stop making lies and start writing actual news https://t.co/wWB4Jm1IGL
