Canadian performance artist Peaches is gearing up for a string of Australian tour dates later in 2016. We already knew that a tour was likely following Peaches’ announcement on the 2016 Meredith Music Festival lineup, and now she has confirmed a string of east coast shows for December.
The enigmatic and provocative performer recently won the Polaris Heritage Prize for her previous album The Teaches Of Peaches, and has also dabbled in the arts, starring in her production of Peaches Christ Superstar and releasing her first feature film, Peaches Does Herself.
She returns to Australia with her most recent creative effort — an album called Rub, featuring such creatively named singles as Dick In The Air and Vaginoplasty, which have come complete with some hugely entertaining video clips.
