Peking Duk have just been announced as the pre-match entertainment for the forthcoming State Of Origin opener.
The duo consisting of Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles will take to the stage before NSW and QLD go head-to-head to perform with “a spectacular light show”, according to a statement.
The game will be on neutral territory at the MCG so it only makes sense that they pick Peking Duk who are from the equally neutral Canberra.
The boys are pumped for the performance, acknowledging that it’s one of their biggest yet.
“It feels exhilarating just standing here and looking around,” Hyde said.
“I can already feel the excitement and the crowd roaring.”
Peking Duk just released two new songs Fire and Distant Arizona which could well get an airing during the performance.
The first State Of Origin game is set for 6th June at the MCG in Melbourne.
