Australia’s longest-running arts festival, Perth Festival, has just announced its full 2019 program, complete with an eclectic lineup of contemporary and classical music.
Having already announced shows from US dream pop duo Beach House and English dance veterans Orbital, organisers have now revealed a string of other shows from the likes of singer-songwriter Cat Power, American multi-instrumentalist Aloe Blacc, R&B acts Rhye and The Internet and Aussie rockers The Preatures.
There’s also shows from Julia Jacklin, Julien Baker, The Others (James Morrison, Paul Grabowsky and Spiderbait’s Kram), Jungle Brothers and more, as well as the likes of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
Aside from all the music, Perth Festival is also promising a host of “the greatest names in international theatre, circus, dance, film, literature and the visual arts”.
Now in its 66th year (!), Perth Festival will take place over three weeks between February and March.
