Philip H. Anselmo and The Illegals have announced a livestream concert they’ve titled Vulgar Display of Pantera. As you could probably guess, they’re promising a performance of Pantera classics.
The virtual concert will go down Friday, 9th April at 7pm ET. That’s 10am AEST on Saturday, 10th April for Australia.
It’s slated to have multiple cameras filming the performance and according to the band it’ll actually be “fully live”.
Philip H. Anselmo and The Illegals are promising a setlist of the band’s classic tracks. They’re saying they’ll run through tracks taken from Cowboys from Hell, Vulgar Display of Power, Far Beyond Driven, The Great Southern Trendkill, and Reinventing the Steel.
Plus, Melbourne heavyweights King Parrot will be warming up the stage.
“It’s always fun to get together with the Illegals and pay tribute to Pantera with all the awesome fans jamming along with us,” says Anselmo, the band’s frontman from ’87 til their disbanding in 2003.
“Let’s do this!”
