They’ve been teasing it for months, but French indie rockers Phoenix have finally officially announced the follow-up to their 2013 record Bankrupt!.
The sixth record from Phoenix will be titled Ti Amo and is set to be released on June 9th, 2017. The band have already performed three new tracks from the forthcoming record live, at their first show in three years in Antwerp over the weekend.
At the show Phoenix performed the title track ‘Ti Amo’ as well as a tune titled ‘Role Model’ and another that they’d previously teased called ‘J-Boy’.
Their drummer Laurent Brancowitz has told The New York Times that the record gives off the vibe of “summer and Italian discos.”
