PREMIERE: The Jensens Ponder The Dynamics Of A Break-Up On New Track ‘Everybody Talks’

Brisbane rockers The Jensens have submitted a worthy entry into the hits of summer-in-waiting. Everybody Talks is the first rumblings of their upcoming, and currently untitled follow-up EP set to drop early next year.

Equal parts breezy and balmy, Everybody Talks is riddled with chirpy guitars, loosey-goosey beats and a hazy vocal line that floats above it all. Essentially, all the ingredients you need to create a summer jam held in place by an ear-worm chorus and what appears to be some spoken-word contemplation at one point.

The band expand on the meaning behind the track, detailing a desire to explore the strange and murky dynamics of a break-up, whether it be with a lover or a friend.

“Everybody Talks is about a break-up or even the end of a friendship. The chorus is about the actual conversation, the happening, that moment when you both know that you won’t be seeing each other like you have been for the last weeks or months or even years. And then it’s over. And no one else knows, everybody talks about a break-up, or how they used to be friends with someone but its only between you and that other person.”

To add further impact to the track, the band have announced some headline tour dates, where at you’ll be able to bask in the glory of summer vibes no matter what the weather.
