PREMIERE: Lochlan Watt’s Metalcore Collective RUN Unleash ‘Summer’ Featuring John Floreani

Naarm/Melbourne-based heavy-hitters RUN are getting ready to clobber the world with a brand new slice of emotionally-wrought, blackened metalcore, and we’ve got your exclusive online premiere down below.

Dubbed ‘Summer’, the band’s brand spanker is a gritty, heart-rending collab with Trophy Eyes frontman John Floreani that sees him adding some soaring vocal moments to RUN frontman Lochlan Watt’s trademark ferocity.

“It was an honour to have my mate John Floreani clean up the chorus on this song,” Watt shares in a press statement. “Most of us have become huge fans of Trophy Eyes in recent years, so once we were actually able to pin him down for recording, the collaborative vibes were unreal.”

Accompanied by a music video directed by Patrick Kearney (watch above), ‘Summer’ is the latest sonic gut punch from the five-piece’s forthcoming record.

“We have a six track EP coming very soon,” Watt reveals. “It features an intro/title track, four seasonal anthems, and a grand finale. I think it blows the band’s previous material out of the water.”
