Prince Expected To Be Called In Michael Jackson Wrongful Death Suit

The Purple One, Prince, is expected to be called as a witness in the Michael Jackson wrongful death suit, in which Jackson’s mother Katherine Jackson and three surviving children Blanket, Paris and Prince Jackson are seeking almost $40 billion in compensation from AEG Live.

As reported by TMZ, Katherine Jackson plans to call on Prince to give testimony against AEG Live, with Jackson’s legal team hoping that a past disagreement between Prince and AEG could prove relevant to their case.

In total, Jackson’s team reportedly plans to call on 100 witnesses, including Prince, to testify against the AEG over the touring group’s (as TMZ phrase it) “alleged negligent hiring and supervision of Dr. Conrad Murray“. Dr Murray was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson in 2011.

AEG Live was the company behind Jackson’s planned comeback shows at London’s O2 Arena. MJ’s mother and children are seeking almost AUD$10.2 billion to recover all lost future earnings and AUD$28.8 billion in other various damages.
