Following immense demand for tickets to Prince‘s Australian Piano & A Microphone tour, The Purple One has released new tickets to his two Sydney Opera House shows, after the tour completely sold out.
To meet demand, Prince’s two Opera House shows on Saturday, 20th February are being opened up into 360-degree experiences, with new seats behind the Concert Hall stage going on sale at 12pm today.
Prince’s Aussie Piano & A Microphone tour sold out super-quickly earlier this week, with thousands of fans slamming ticket-sellers Ticketek and Ticketmaster after missing out on tickets.
Music Feeds has been told by Prince’s Australian tour promoter Kerry O’Brien that no further Aussie shows are to be announced for the Piano & A Microphone tour, but Prince has revealed that he is planning Aussie tour after-parties, just like he did last time he was here in 2012.
Demand for tickets to Prince’s latest run of Australian dates has been so immense that Prince himself posted some now-deleted tweets slamming ticket scalpers after the tour sold out, and also set some ground rules for his true Aussie fans.
Prince’s Australian Piano & A Microphone tour is set to kick off with four shows in Melbourne beginning 16th February, before heading to Sydney. Catch all the tour dates and new ticket release details, below.

SPECIAL TICKETING ARRANGEMENTS:
Ticket purchases for the show will be limited to two (2) tickets per person via the venues and ticketing companies noted above. No tickets will be distributed. At the time of purchase, the purchaser’s name will be recorded and a corresponding receipt issued. Physical tickets will only be available for collection from noon on the night of the concert. Photo ID will be required to match the name previously advised and individuals will be wrist-banded before entering the auditorium.
