Queensland’s rainforest camping festival Jungle Love is returning for its 5th romp in 2018 and organisers have just announced a lineup to go wild over.
Headed up by Perth psychedelic outfit POND, the bill for this year’s event features a diverse collection of local, Aussie and international acts.
Dance headliner and Kiwi glitch-hop producer OPIUO, Japanese ‘loop ninja’ Kenta Hayashi, UK dub and remix king Mad Professor and British neo-soul songstress China Bowls will be jetting in from OS to perform at the three-day tropical extravaganza, alongside Melbourne’s Approachable Members of Your Local Community and Sydney-based female punk force RACKETT.
More than 50% of the artists on the bill are also native to the Sunshine State, including Gabriella Cohen, Omegachild, First Beige, Nonsemble, L. Flora, FeelsClub and loads more.
There’s also a program highlight in Jungle Love Allstars: Live Tribute to Justice, a 12-piece band hand-picked from some of Brisbane’s finest musicians inspired by the legendary French electronic duo.
“It’s going to be truly epic and will feature tracks from all three of the French duo’s albums – Cross, Audio, Video, Disco and Woman,” spruiks Festival Co-Director Raymond Williams.
The immersive, environmentally conscious, BYO event will also feature its usual array of thoughtfully curated culture and workshops, astounding visual and performance art, holistic pastimes and progressive food and beverage options.
Jungle Love Festival will go down at a secret location in the rainforest of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland across Novermber 29th – December 1st.
