Radiohead Release ‘Kid A’ / ‘Amnesiac’ Outtake ‘If You Say The Word’

Radiohead have announced the upcoming triple-album compilation, KID A MNESIA. It’s due out this November to mark the 21st anniversary of Kid A.

Landing on Friday, 5th November via XL Recordings/Remote Control Records, KID A MNESIA combines 2000’s Kid A and 2001’s Amnesiac, the band’s fourth and fifth albums respectively. The most exciting news concerns the third disc, Kid Amnesiae, which consists of previously unreleased material from the Kid A Amnesiac sessions, including b-sides, alternate versions and never-before-heard outtakes.

One such outtake is ‘If You Say The Word’, which you can listen to now. Produced by the band with their go-to studio auxiliary, Nigel Godrich, ‘If You Say The Word’ is not as electronics focused as much of Kid A and Amnesiac. In fact, it would’ve sounded right at home on the band’s sixth album, Hail to the Thief (2003).
