Rage have dropped their annual list of the year’s most popular videos, as voted for by the public. Aussie talent reigned supreme with Perth’s own Birds Of Tokyo taking out the number one spot with their video for Lanterns, beating out the likes of Lorde, Arctic Monkeys, and Beach House.
Kiwi songstress Lorde, whose hit Royals was a ubiquitous presence in 2013, placed second, while Arctic Monkeys took third with their sultry single Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High? Beach House and their video for Wishes and James Blake‘s Retrograde clip rounded out the top five.
The 2013 list also featured 25 homegrown Aussie acts, including Karnivool, Flume, Dead Letter Circus, Vance Joy, Clubfeet, Parkway Drive, Kirin J Callinan, and Bed Wettin’ Bad Boys, with the latter concluding the list at number 50. Readers can browse the list in its entirety, below.
