After seeing “no reason” why the event shouldn’t make a return in 2014, Rainbow Serpent organisers have stayed true to their word and today delivered the initial line up announcement for the festival, which takes place over the Australia day long weekend, 24th to 27th January, next year.
Much as we’ve come to expect from the festival (which at one point nearly added its bones to the pile), they’ve presented a fairly forward thinking line up rather than sticking with the usual suspects for such festivals.
Taking out pole position for the first line up will be Donato Dozzy, with Michael Mayer closely behind. Both have proven their worth in similar settings.
King Unique also appears on the bill with FreQ Nasty and a small crowd of fellow DJ/Producers resulting in a healthy cross section of all spheres of the EDM world.
You can expect a few more line up announcements in the coming weeks, much like the tickets, which go on general sale Tuesday, 23rd July.
