Rise Against Say They’ll “Absolutely” Tour Australia Soon

UPDATE: Rise Against have now announced a 2018 Australian tour.

ORIGINAL STORY: Rise Against are preparing to release their new album Wolves next month, and they’ve just revealed that they’ll “absolutely” be touring Australia following its release.

Asked if the band will be touring down under soon, bassist Joe Principe told Music Feeds contributor Jade Kennedy, “Yeah, absolutely! We’re trying to figure out exactly when, it’s looking like it’ll be more like early next year, but nothing’s set in stone yet.

“It’s definitely on the cards and we’re trying to make it happen. We love Australia, we love playing down there so uh, we will definitely be there as soon as we can make it happen.”

Rise Against previously toured Australia in 2015. Since then, they’ve heralded the arrival of their eighth studio album, Wolves, with the rapid-fire single ‘The Violence’ and the latest album cut, ‘House On Fire’, which you can stream below.

Wolves is set for release on Friday, 9th June as the follow-up to 2014’s The Black Market.
