Rita Ora Joins ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Movie

Rita Ora is the latest addition to the cast of Fifty Shades Of Grey, with the British singer-songwriter signing up to play Mia, the adoptive sister of protagonist Christian Grey, in the big screen adaptation of the best-selling bondage novel by E.L. James.

The 23-year-old songstress may be better known for her hits like How We Do (Party) and R.I.P. but she’s no stranger to acting, having appeared in British film Spivs in 2004. As Variety reports, she joins Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and Jennifer Ehle, with Sam Taylor-Johnson set to direct.

Ora was last in Australia for Future Music Festival 2013. Fifty Shades and its two sequels have sold more than 90 million copies, with the BDSM adventures of billionaire Christian Grey and college student Anastasia Steele winning the, uh, hearts of fans worldwide. The film is set for release in 2015.
