Russell Crowe has continued to share his love for Australian musician Alex Cameron, waking from his slumber overnight to spruik the singer-songwriter’s upcoming national tour (and landing himself a spot on the guest list in the process).
Taking to Twitter late last night, a sleepy Crowe said, “Ok. I’ve woken specially to tweet this because I want to be seen as supportive… when Alex Cameron is supporting The Killers on tour, he’s also doing his own gigs. One of which is at [Sydney venue] The Manning Bar. I’m not giving you anymore info because I like my space and I won’t miss it.”
Ok.

Luckily for Crowe, Cameron — who is scheduled to support The Killers’ Australian tour between April and May — replied by confirming Russ will be on the guest list.
Your name's on the door russ. ? https://t.co/0Lot41ytjM

This isn’t the first time Russ has tweeted in praise of Alex Cameron, though. Last year, he posted some of Cameron’s music, catching the singer-songwriter seemingly by surprise.
Who is Alex Cameron? Exactly. He’s back for the first time. https://t.co/ymZAlNTTcR via @youtube

Never thought I'd wake up with Russ on the crew. See you at a show some time my guru. I'll bring the Steeden. https://t.co/2RAlE2vWLO

Then, earlier this year, it happened again:
This … you should have been listening to this last year , but it’s just as good this year . This is but one track. There are others , album is called Forced Witness. @ALKCM https://t.co/rRFaPUAGhz

Like @russellcrowe says: my album will never not be available. ? https://t.co/44MDHewT5z

Earlier this month, Cameron announced a national tour behind his new album Forced Witness, which will see him perform around the country between April and May. His Sydney show will take place at Manning Bar on Sunday, 29th April, and we dare say Crowe might be in attendance.
