Celebrated Australian singer-songwriter and record producer Sarah Blasko is toasting her 21-year career with a brand new tour in honour of her seminal albums, her critically acclaimed debut The Overture & the Underscore (2004) and its commercial breakthrough follow up What The Sea Wants, The Sea Will Have (2006).
Dubbed The Double Feature Tour, Blasko’s national lap will take place this spring, seeing the multiple ARIA-winner taking fans back where it all began by performing both LPs in full and back to back.

Blasko’s itinerary will take her to some huge stages in Thirroul, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney across September and October. What’s more, she’ll be backed by her long-standing live band, made up of revered players David Hunt, David Symes, Laurence Pike and Neal Sutherland.
To boot, Blasko has also announced that, to mark the occasion, both The Overture & the Underscore and What The Sea Wants, The Sea Will Have LPs will be released on vinyl for the first time ever on Friday, 5th September.
Both albums are being pressed to 2LP gatefold, with The Overture also including the B-sides ‘Flame Trees’, ‘Into The Great White Open’, ‘Fall Down’, and ‘Long Time’ – the secret track that closes out the record.
“I am, in a way, quite proud of my younger self for knowing that this career is what I wanted, and that I was setting that up for myself without even realising,” Blasko commented on the milestone, adding that she’s wanted “to do this for a long time”.
