Well then, here’s something that’s going to brighten up even the bleakest of Mondays. Raggamuffin All Stars has announced plans to hit Australian shores in the new year, and they’ve unveiled an bombastic lineup of relevant talent, including Mr. Boombastic himself, ya boy Shaggy.
What’s more, Shaggy won’t be doing all the heavy lifting off the back of his Grammy-award winning career. The tour will also feature the legendary Wailers, who will be performing the time-tested hits of Bob Marley featuring the vocal styles of none other than Marley family heir, Julian ‘Ju Ju’ Marley. Reggae legends Morgan Heritage will also be making the trip down.
Other brethren from across the ditch have also added a hefty dose of soul to the event. Kiwi breakthrough act Six60 have been locked in as main support for the run, with country and genre mates House Of Shem.
First it was B*Witched… then Vanilla Ice… and now Shaggy. Guys we’ve done it — we’ve successfully turned back time to happier days and brought every ’90s act to Australia.
