Perth’s Ship-Wrecked! music festival has announced the lineup for its upcoming beach shenaningans, and it’s packing the likes of Kingswood, Art Of Sleeping, The Delta Riggs, Thundamentals and Australian Idol‘s 2003 runner-up Shannon Noll, whose admirers have spent the last few months trying desperately to get him onto more festival rosters.
Ship-Wrecked! organisers sorted through over 2600 requests from punters before formulating their lineup, which also includes Abbe May, Andy Bull, Lurch and Chief, Yeo and more. Over 300 different acts were requested in total, but Nollsie and a list of 10 other acts eventually won out.
Noll, who unfortunately hasn’t made it onto this year’s Groovin The Moo lineup despite thousands signing a petition to make it happen, doesn’t perform at all that many festivals, but has made appearances at the likes of Queenscliff Music Festival and the Toyota Country Music Festival in Tamworth in recent years.
Ship-Wrecked! still has a number of acts to add to its lineup, and they’ll be announced in the coming weeks along with the winners of its very own Battle Of The Bands competition. The festival will also see a stack of local DJs perform at a silent disco on the day of the event.
Aside from the music, Ship-Wrecked! is also planning its own village and market place, alongside arts, crafts and chill-out areas, and even rides and waterslides.
Ship-Wrecked! music festival will take place on Saturday, 9th April on Perth’s Victoria Park foreshore. Catch the full lineup alongside ticket details, below.
