Something Wonderful Happens To David Bowie’s ‘Blackstar’ LP When You Expose It To Sunlight

David Bowie was always one to go the extra mile for his fans’ enjoyment. Despite his untimely passing, the legend still continues to give back to those who gave him so much, this time, for those who went out of their way to purchase his farewell album Blackstar on vinyl.

Displayed as a stunning gatefold, it’s no surprise why people opted to fork out a little extra to obtain the album on vinyl. Now, users of the internet have spotted something else about the record. If you happen to place it under the sunlight, the iconic black star proves to contain an entire galaxy within.

Of course, Reddit had the answers. It appears a thinner piece of paper is housed in the back of the LP, which is what the star design appears on once put in contact with the sun.

Regardless of how, Bowie’s legacy lives on! Time will tell if the superstar has planned more posthumous Easter eggs for his enamoured followers. Even the official video clip for lead single Lazarus was said to be peppered with tidbits from Bowie about his impending fate.

Bowie’s long time producer Tony Visconti described him as “an extraordinary man, full of love and life. He will always be with us.” It seems, he was right.
