Spacey Jane To Play Intimate Shows This Week

Spacey Jane have shocked east-coast fans with the announcement of two last-minute shows over the coming days. The first will take place at the Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney tomorrow night (Thursday, January 16th), while the second will follow a day later at Melbourne’s Howler on Friday, January 17th. These, along with their last-minute show at the Rosemount Hotel in their native Perth on Monday night, collectively mark the band’s first headlining shows locally in over 18 months.

The band made the announcement this morning, with a link to register for ticket sales going live at the same time – which can be found here. Tickets for both shows are set to go on sale at 10am AEDT tomorrow.

Spacey Jane – ‘Lots Of Nothing’

Per Setlist.FM, the band’s Rosemount Hotel show on Monday night featured two new songs being performed live for the first time: ‘All The Noise’, which is set to be the band’s comeback single, and ‘How To Kill Houseplants’. Both are slated to appear on Spacey Jane’s as-yet-untitled third studio album, which is tentatively set for release in 2025.

The band’s last studio album, Here Comes Everybody, came out in June of 2022. It topped the ARIA Charts upon release, and was later certified Gold by ARIA. Six songs from the album appeared in that year’s triple j Hottest 100, tying a record set by Wolfmother in 2005 for most entries by a single act in one countdown – which was broken a year later by G Flip‘s seven countdown entries in 2023.
