Adelaide’s own mini-version of Splendour In The Grass, Spin Off festival, has just dropped its 2013 lineup, with Of Monsters And Men, Passion Pit, FIDLAR and more making their way to the City of Churches.
It was already confirmed last week that Icelandic indie folksters Of Monsters And Men would be headlining the proceedings, with mega-hyped LA skater punks FIDLAR also being announced this morning. They’re now going to be joined by Massachusetts indie kids Passion Pit, Aussie electro guru Chet Faker and triple j Unearthed faves Dune Rats, Snakadaktal and Jungle Giants.
Promoters promised that this year’s venue downsize wouldn’t mean a diminished lineup, so we’re hoping to see some more additions added to the bill closer to the date. Local bands and DJs will be announced closer to the arrival date.
Spin Off takes place at Thebarton Theatre on Friday, 2nd August, just a week after Splendour in the Grass. First release tickets will set you back $99 + BF, with presale beginning Wednesday 8th May at 9am, with general release kicking off on Friday. All tickets via www.venuetix.com.au
