It’s been a tumultuous ride, but Splendour In The Grass has been rescheduled for 2022. It’ll go down at its usual North Byron Parklands on its usual weekend of Friday, 22nd July to Sunday, 24th July.
Some really good news is that the event’s three headliners: Gorillaz, Tyler, The Creator, and The Strokes are all still available for the rescheduled dates and will still be performing.
How good’s that.
Splendour in the Grass co-founders Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco say, “With vaccine rollout progressing more slowly than anticipated, we have made the decision to move the 20th Anniversary edition of the festival to July 2022.”
“We are confident that moving the festival to July 2022 will finally see us enjoying Splendour In The Grass in all its glory. More of the population will be vaccinated, international talent will have the ability to enter the country more freely and we’ll be able to deliver the Splendour in the Grass that you know and love.”
All previously purchased tickets will still be valid for 2022. If you’re still looking for tickets, you can pick them up via re-sale on Moshtix.
Festival organisers have said any ticket holders who can’t make the festival can apply for a refund from 12pm AEST today, 20th August until 5pm Friday, 17th September.
