Stereosonic 2014 Dates Announced

Following the successful launch of a two-day format in 2013, organisers have now announced the dates for Stereosonic 2014, confirming what punters had hoped since December, with Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Brisbane each set to receive a double Stereo dose in 2014.

In addition to retaining 2013’s well-received expansion, organisers have decided to continue with the logistical headache of running two Stereosonic events simultaneously, with Sydney and Perth, and Melbourne and Brisbane, running on the same dates, and sharing 6th December with Adelaide.

The two-day format was initially launched in order to accommodate what promoter Richie McNeill called “the greatest EDM line-up Australia has ever seen,” which included the likes of Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, and Calvin Harris, boding well for punters attending Stereosonic 2014.

In previous years organisers have faced some resistance from the local Claremont Council in Perth, who have developed a reputation for being hostile towards festivals.
