Stevie Jean Shares Music Video For ‘Menace’, Announces Headline Melbourne Show

Stevie Jean has shared the music video her new single ‘Menace’. It’s an edgy, brooding single that has the artist taunting, “Mother fucker I’m a menace” in the hook.

The energy is injected straight into the music video, which sees Stevie Jean strut around, carrying chaos wherever she goes. It’s a total vibe.

‘Menace’ is the lead single from her debut album The Dark. The album is due Friday, 14th May.

“I was always scared of the dark as a kid,” says Stevie Jean on the new album.

“Don’t get me wrong, I loved it too. Adolescence brought with it the darkness that Johnny Cash sang about.

“Those feelings that have been broken into so many individual parts.

“Anxiety, depression, the blues, melancholy, bittersweetness, low self esteem, rage, pity, lust, gluttony, envy.

“So many shattered pieces of glass emotions that can be pulled apart and made clinical to examine and explain.

“Personally, I’m someone who feels deeply on an extreme scale. I just call it ‘The Dark.'”

She’s recently made the move from Darwin to Melbourne and is celebrating the new album with a new-hometown launch party.

The launch event will go down at Melbourne’s The Leadbeater Hotel on Thursday, 13th May. Find the deets down below.
