Swedish heavy metal band Bullet have announced their debut shows in Australia, which are happening in April 2024. The tour will begin with Simo’s Boat Cruise in Sydney on Friday, 26th April followed by a couple of shows in Melbourne.

Bullet was formed in Växjö in 2001 and currently consists of members Hell Hofer (vocal), Hampus Klang (lead guitar), Gustav Hjortsjö (bass), and Gustav Hector (drums).

Bullet – ‘Heading for the Top’

Klang and Hofer formed the band in Växjö. They made their first demo, Heavy Metal Highway, in 2002. In 2006, they released the album Heading for the Top on the Black Lodge record label.

The band got a big boost when Bruce Dickinson, singer of Iron Maiden, played the Heading for the Top track ‘Turn it Up Loud’ on his BBC radio show in 2006. They followed their debut with Bite the Bullet in 2008.

Bullet’s third album, Highway Pirates, came out in 2011, followed by Full Pull (2012), Storm of Blades (2014) and Dust to Gold (2018).
