The members of Sydney band Castlecomer have survived a “massive” six-vehicle car crash in the United States, which involved their tour van.
The group took to Instagram today to reassure fans that they are safe, after their vehicle was damaged in the accident just outside of New York.
“Luckily everyone involved lived, just minor injuries to two people, but all four cars behind [ours] are written off,” the band said.
“No one’s dead. One guy’s hurt his arm. So, we’re blessed, but this is super f-ed up and scary, ’cause we are a long way from home.”
The group shared more video of the crash scene on their Instagram story.
Castlecomer released their self-titled debut album on 5th October, and will tour the US until mid-November.
The group were last week announced as one of the 18 first Australian acts heading to Texas’ South By Southwest (SXSW) music conference in 2019.
