Sydney’s Copping A Brand New Music & Wellness Festival

On Saturday, 28th September, Sydney’s Carriageworks will be hosting the inaugural ZoneOut International Music Festival. Bringing together live performance, panel discussions, yoga sessions and more, the festival will play host to a stellar lineup of international and Australian artists.

Presented by Universal Music Australia, the festival’s debut lineup will see a number of artists who practice neo-classical music – fusing elements of ambient, electronic and classical – taking to the stage.

Leading the lineup is festival ambassador and composer, Luke Howard, and pianist, Sophie Hutchings.

The festival will play host to Australian debut performances from the likes of Germany’s enigmatic masked musician Lambert, highly acclaimed UK cellist Peter Gregson and indie harpist Remy Van Kesteren out of the Netherlands.

Aussie producers Anatole and Double Touch are also on the lineup, as well as Kenyan singer/songwriter J.S. Ondara, Irish folk singer Sibeal and Aussie pianist Kristian Chong.

The festival schedule will also see three ‘cozy concerts’, offering a family-friendly musical experience. This means that floor seating for parents and babies will be available, as well as pram parking.

ZoneOut will take place over three venues within the Carriageworks complex including the Red Room; a 300 person minimalist visual space, the Blue Room; the largest performance space which will host a variety of unique, immersive concerts and the Green Room; home to the wellness aspect of ZoneOut where you can participate in yoga sessions and panel discussions.
