There is one week until the final season of Game Of Thrones kicks off, and it turns out we’re getting a lot more goods than the final showdown between our favourite royals and the White Walkers – three of music’s biggest stars are joining forces to release a song for the hit show.
According to Pitchfork, The Weeknd, Travis Scott and SZA are collaborating for a track that will feature at some point during the show’s final season – which kicks off Sunday, 14th April (US time).
Apparently, the show hit up The Weeknd to create a song for them, and he then hit up both SZA and Travis Scott to collaborate with him on the track.
This isn’t the first foray for some of the trio in songs for visual media. In particular, last year SZA – one of this year’s top acts at Splendour In The Grass – enjoyed massive success for her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, ‘All The Stars’, which was written for Black Panther.
Game Of Thrones airs Monday, 15th April on Fox Showcase.
