The countdown is up and after mountains of hype and Taylor Swift fans’ decoding of each clue, we finally have new music. Taylor Swift has just released new track and video ‘ME!’ featuring Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie.
It started just over two weeks ago when T Swift uploaded a countdown to Instagram, driving fans crazy trying to work out what it meant.
Posts with vague content, captioned with “26.04” (today’s date) were uploaded over the fortnight. Then there was a butterfly mural in Nashville, some Insta stories confirming new music was on its way, and an in-person address to her fans.
Along with all that hype, we had a live countdown in Tay’s Instagram stories, set to expire at 2pm AEST. THEN she set up a Youtube premiere for the track where fans went seriously insane in the comments.
‘ME!’ is Swift’s first new music since her 2017 album Reputation. See her address to fans and interview with ABC during the 2019 NFL Draft below.
But first, here’s ‘ME!’.
