Teenage Girl Sexually Assaulted At Selena Gomez Concert In Melbourne

Police say a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in the crowd at a Selena Gomez concert at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena earlier this month.

While the exact details of the incident are being kept under wraps, officers allege a man approached the teen during the show on Saturday, 6th August and sexually assaulted her.

Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are appealing for help from the public to identify an individual whom they believe may be able to help with their inquiries.

He’s described as being about 162cm tall, with a medium build, brown short, wavy hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.

They’re also looking into whether the man may have approached other fans at the concert, or possibly at Gomez’s second concert at the same venue, the following night.

They’ve released a picture of the individual that they’re hoping to speak with (below).

Anyone who might be able to help with their inquiries is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Meanwhile, Gomez recently wrapped up her first ever tour Down Under, in support of her new album, Revival.
