Terminal Sleep Announce 2024 Australian Tour

Terminal Sleep have announced a headlining tour of Australia, set to take place next month in July 2024. The tour, dubbed the Blunt Force Trauma tour, comes in support of the band’s forthcoming 7-inch vinyl release: A double A-side single with two new songs, ‘Spineless’ and ‘Shadows’. A full run of dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.

The Melbourne metalcore band’s last release was their second EP, Chapter 2: Elicit Fear, which was released in May 2023. Since then, the band have toured Australia extensively, including an appearance at Yours & Owls festival last October and a regional Australian tour in January with The Amity Affliction, Alpha Wolf and R U N. Their most recent show was in March 2024, supporting Void Of Vision in Narre Warren – the hometown of lead vocalist Bec Thorwesten.

Joining the band on the majority of the tour will be Novocastrian hardcore band Skorn, who released their latest EP A Quick Death in March 2024. The Wollongong date of the tour will serve as part of the Lonely Hearts event series, and will feature drag performances as well as sets from Goethe, Major Arcana, L.O.W. and Takoba.

The Canberra show, meanwhile, will be a house show. Joining the band will be Thantu Thikha, Born2Lose, Life Sentence, Dominant Hand, Moving Violation and Gravel. Shows in Brisbane and Nambour will be added to the tour at a later date.
