Tex Perkins & The Dark Horses are soon to release their new album Everyone’s Alone, due out this Friday, November 2 via Dark Horse Records / Inertia. Following up last year’s self-titled debut, Tex Perkins & The Dark Horses are currently on tour behind their sophomore record.
Having already passed through Tasmania, Perkins and his Horses are visiting both regional areas and the bright lights of the big cities as their remaining tour dates see the band make stops in Victoria, Canberra, NSW and Queensland.
Having fronted bands such as The Cruel Sea and The Beasts of Bourbon, Perkins latest incarnation brings with it his trademark moody grooves. However, Perkins notes that Everyone’s Alone is not the work of one man but rather an all encompassing band effort.
“This record has more of a band feel to it and less of a singer songwriter trip,” Perkins explains in a press release, “So it felt like the right time to present the Horses as one unified entity”.
