Following a three-year absence, Floridian alt-rockers The Almost have announced that they will return to Australian shores this April. The band will be touring on the momentum of their most recent full-length studio effort, the critically-acclaimed third album Fear Inside Our Bones.
The band, led by former Underoath drummer and backing vocalist Aaron Gillespie, recorded Fear Inside Our Bones entirely live, crafting a musically and texturally diverse album that is both raw and aggressive, while retaining the band’s characteristically anthemic musical style and hopeful lyrics.
Joining the band on their April tour will be Brisbane outfit Young Lions, featuring members from The Dream The Chase and Dream On Dreamer, who unveiled their debut, Burn, just last year. Also on the bill are Canberra’s Drawing North, who are gearing up for the release of their own debut.
Tickets for this not-to-be-missed tour hit sale Wednesday, 15th January. The tour will kick off Wednesday, 16th April at Wrangler Studios in Melbourne, before shows in Toowoomba for Easterfest, Sydney’s Factory Theatre, Newcastle’s Small Ballroom, and gigs in Adelaide and Perth.
