Australian blues rock icons The Cruel Sea are taking their new album on tour. The Tex Perkins-fronted collective have announced an eight-date theatre tour across Australia in honour of their recently released seventh studio album, Straight Into The Sun.
Marking their first tour in 18 months, the band will visit fans in both metro and regional areas, kicking off in Adelaide before heading to Melbourne, Canberra, Wollongong, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and wrapping up in Mandurah, WA.
The Cruel Sea – ‘Waste Your Time’
Fans can expect to be treated to two complete sets in intimate theatre settings, with the band performing their new record in full, as well as delivering a separate set of classics and carefully selected fan favourites.
Prior to the tour kicking off, The Cruel Sea will also perform a one-off show at Newcastle’s Bar on the Hill venue on Saturday, 22nd March as part of the Great Southern Nights initiative.
