The Gaslight Anthem Announce New Album ‘Get Hurt’

New Jersey rockers The Gaslight Anthem have announced their fifth studio album Get Hurt, to be released in the US on 19th August. The album will follow the band’s 2012 full-length effort Handwritten, but with a slightly heavier edge.

According to Paste, Get Hurt was recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville with producer Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, The 1975) at the helm. As the band announced the album on their official Facebook page, they posted, “Get ready for some things you’ve never heard this band do!!!!!”

A deluxe version of the album will feature three bonus tracks, whilst the iTunes edition will have one exclusive bonus track.

The album art and tracklist for Get Hurt are available below. The Gaslight Anthem have also released a teaser clip (below), filmed as the band recorded Get Hurt in Nashville. The clip features a portion of new song Stay Vicious.
