The Griswolds have unveiled their latest audio-visual exploit, following the release of the clip for their upbeat sing-along, Mississippi, and their collaboration with Chance Waters, Bonnie. The new single and video is titled The Courtship of Summer Preasley and features a somewhat unique cast.
Viewing the clip below will treat your occipital lobe to a Lana Del Rey impersonator, a human cereal bowl, a human-puppet make-out session, axe-shaving, and all sorts of semi-nudity, courtesy of Griswolds frontmen Chris Whitehall and Danny Duque-Perez, and director Jefferton James.
The band are currently gearing up to start studio sessions for their debut album, due out some time in 2014, with M83 and Phoenix producer Tony Hoffer. One of Wind-Up Records‘ freshest signings, The Griswolds have spent 2013 cementing their reputation for producing infectious jangle-pop.
