After a successful debut earlier this month at South Stradbroke Island on the Gold Coast, the boutique Stranded festival series is set to return for round two. Falling on the G20 Summit long weekend this November, the round two lineup is topped by experimental electronic project The Kite String Tangle.
Joining him will be Triple J House Party host KLP, rising star UV boi فوق بنفسجي and Generik. Local acts who’ll be making their way north for some island party vibes include 95 Royale, Gurps, Lyndon Kidd, Elleyet, Tucker, and Finger Ring. Meanwhile, a second lineup announcement will drop in mid-October.
Stranded Round Two will allow punters to escape the political madness heading to Brisbane in November by setting sail to South Stradbroke for a day of beach and beats. Tickets are priced at $45.00 + bf and include the boat ride from Marina Mirage on the Gold Coast to the island, plus more extras to come.
