The Last Dinner Party have announced their return to Australia for January 2026. The five-date capital city run will see the UK-based baroque pop quintet touring in support of their second studio album From The Pyre, which is set for release next month on Friday, October 17th. The band’s complete Australian tour itinerary, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.
The band first toured Australia in July of 2024. They were originally announced on the line-up for that year’s Splendour In The Grass, but the Byron Bay festival was shockingly cancelled just a matter of weeks later. Nevertheless, the band still toured Australia, playing headlining shows in Sydney and Melbourne as well as a co-headlining show with TV Girl in Brisbane and Spin Off in Adelaide.
The shows were a runaway success, with the originally-booked venues for all of the band’s non-festival shows being upgraded to venues twice the size: The Enmore Theatre to the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, the Forum Theatre to Festival Hall in Melbourne and the Fortitude Music Hall to the Riverstage in Brisbane. The shows also marked a homecoming for Australian bassist Georgia Davies, who had moved to the UK from her native Canberra to study literature in London.
The Last Dinner Party – ‘ This Is The Killer Speaking’
From The Pyre was produced by Markus Dravs, a Grammy-winning producer whose previous credits include the likes of Coldplay, Mumford & Sons, Wolf Alice and Hozier. Two singles have been lifted from the follow-up to 2024’s Prelude To Ecstasy thus far: ‘This Is The Killer Speaking’, released in mid-July to coincide with the album’s announcement, and ‘The Scythe’, released just last week.
