The Muppets’ Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem Just Made Their Music Festival Debut

San Francisco’s Outside Lands music festival was one of the most anticipated festivals on the US festival circuit this year, but not because Anderson .Paak, LCD Soundsystem and Radiohead were headlining.

Although the aforementioned surely played some incredible sets, the biggest novelty of the festival was the headline debut of The Muppets house band; Dr. Teeth And The Electric Mayhem and they absolutely killed it.

In their first ever ‘live’ festival set, Dr. Teeth and Animal were joined by the whole crew; Zoot, Lips and Floyd Pepper to perform a 25-minute epic set of tracks (complete with short breaks to give the hard-working puppeteers some well deserved rests).

Dr. Teeth And The Electric Mayhem covered The Mowgli’s, Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros and The Band. They were joined by the Oakland Tabernacle Choir for an incredible finale where they busted out With A Little Help From My Friends by The Beatles.
