This Is Your Last Chance To Grab Cheap Bluesfest 2017 Tickets

Bluesfest is one of the very few regular Australian festivals that sells tickets all year round, but that’s about to change with festival organisers set to take tickets off sale next week.

The move is in response to unusually high ticket sales for the 2017 event, which will take place from Thursday, 13th to Monday, 17th April 2017.

Sales have surged in the past couple of months in particular, prior to the first lineup announcement even being released, and organisers have said that Bluesfest won’t be able to continue delivering high calibre lineups if the majority of tickets sell at the early bird price.

As a result, tickets will be taken off sale and will only become available again, at a higher price, after the the first lineup announcement occurs.

Festival director Peter Noble already dropped some hints at who may be secured for the 2017 event. “We are now in the process of finalising negotiations with some of the world’s most famous artists,” he said in a statement.

“Ticket sales have been just incredible, and now we are announcing we are going off sale for a time before returning with our first announcement. Now is your opportunity to buy your ticket at the best possible price. I can tell you this, without a shadow of a doubt, Bluesfest 2017 will be one of our greatest events. This is our passion and what we live for.”

Early bird tickets for Bluesfest 2017 are on sale now. Further ticketing information below.
