Recent visitors Train have announced they will make their return to Australian shores this April as part of their world tour supporting seventh studio album Bulletproof Picasso. This short run of dates will see the San Franciscan three-time Grammy award-winners hitting up venues in Melbourne and Sydney.
The group first came to the world’s attention with their inescapable 2001 ballad Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me), which they’ve followed up with a consistent stream of radio-ready pop rock hits, including Meet Virginia, Calling All Angels, and the smash hit that’s quickly becoming their new signature tune, Hey Soul Sister.
In addition to their upcoming performances at the iconic Sydney Opera House and Melbourne’s famous Hamer Hall, the hit-makers will also be making their way over to the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm to join The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Xavier Rudd, and more for the 2015 installment of Byron Bay Bluesfest.
With 20 years of touring under their belts and having recently visited to perform as part of the 2014 NRL Grand Final pre-game entertainment lineup, Train are sure to give their Aussie fans a show they’ll remember for years to come.
